Expanded think tank role for KP publisher

The Bluegrass Institute will announce soon expanding the role of Kentucky Votes Director and Bluegrass Policy Blog lead blogger David Adams to include the duties of Grassroots Coordinator.

"I'll be meeting with individuals across the state to organize and expand efforts to promote greater freedom and prosperity for all Kentuckians. It's part of the Institute's effort to build on its past successes by turning up the heat on public officials who misuse their power to hold Kentucky back economically," Adams said.

The Bluegrass Institute's main initiatives include lowering taxes, improving government transparency, eliminating policies that hurt Kentucky's competitiveness, and getting a better return on Kentucky's public investments in education.

The Bluegrass Institute's web sites include Kentucky Votes, Bluegrass Policy Blog, and Freedom Kentucky.

Great self-promotion there. What's next? Self-proclaimed King of the World?

KP those that are throwing stones your way are just jealous of the success you, and the blogs that you are involved in. A typical liberal attack, if you can’t debate on facts and issues attack the presenter and that was what the first post was about.

Congratulations and way to go continued success and keep the lights shining brightly on those that are doing the wrong things.

I'm going to split the difference between 9:55 and 10:01. Thanks to both for the comments and thanks to 10:01 (Mom, is that you?) for the compliments and moral support.

This is basically a press release and, yes, self-promotion. As traffic has grown a lot on this site, it seems that a lot of readers don't know who I am. That cuts both ways, but I thought I could get away with this as long as I don't make a habit of referring to myself in the third person or quoting myself. Anyway, I appreciate the feedback.

I would like to think that some, most, okay maybe sixty percent of your traffic increase over the last three years has been from the misguidance of the baffons running the Lexington Jail. Not to reward them pretentiously for their efforts, please do not forget the little guys and gals that suffer from their escapades. We faithfully submit comments and bring to light their wrongdoings.
We thank you for your support and I look forward to reading your other blogs.

You're probably right. Thank you.

Looks like the Bluegrass Policy Institute is now taking off any guise of non-partiship.

The Bluegrass Institute is made up of people belonging to several political parties. We generally don't spend much time on party labels and we spend no time at all on partisanship. Everyone who seeks greater personal freedom, open and honest government, and policies that encourage growth and prosperity is welcome at the Bluegrass Institute.
