Answer this, Governor Beshear

Very plausible rumor on Page One Kentucky has Rep. Larry Clark going to work in the Gov. Steve Beshear Administration if he loses his House leadership position.

Clark would then join a growing list of lawmakers who taking advantage of a special pension provision they gave themselves that continues to cost the state money unnecessarily.

You're cutting expenses now, aren't you Governor? Then you won't want to do this, will you?

It will be worth every penny to get a sleazebag like Clark out of the legislature. The man is a thug.

I say we keep some of those pennies whether Clark stays in the legislature or not.

This is off topic, but the House Republican Caucus has just elected Rep. David Floyd, of Bardstown, GOP Whip over Rep. Stan Lee. The race was without bad feelings and two other candidates dropped out before the caucus meeting. Rep. Hoover and Rep. DeWeese were re-elected to their posts as Republican Floor Leader and Republican Caucus Chairman as they were the only candidates for those offices.

Thanks for the heads up!

Larry Clark will win his leadership position.

Question--Why would anon 12:16 pm and KP express negative feelings about Larry Clark?

Rep. Clark is a good man working for the good of his district and the people of Kentucky.

4:51,

Are you suggesting that not wanting to inflate Clark's pension is a "negative feeling?" I don't know him and have no opinion of him. I'm just interested in saving taxpayer dollars.

Doesn't matter now since Clark won.

I'm extremely happy that Stumbo won the Speaker position. Even though I dislike Stumbo, the House needs somebody like him to stand up to the Bully from Burkesville (or Russell Springs, depending on who you ask...).

David Williams will make mincemeat out of Speaker Deadbeat Dad and newly minted Sen. Kathy Stein.

Sorry to see Stan Lee lose a leadership position. I probably respect him more than any other House member. He'd make a good governor.

It does matter, 9:32. It just doesn't apply to Clark yet.

It looks like the results of the past election repudiated the position(s) of KP etc with the defeat of Stan Lee for a Republican Leadership Position.

Republicans are getting tired of negativity of Lee and others who call themselves conservative but are actually nay sayers as they only are against things and are never for anything.

I'm pretty sure, 9:55, that conservatism will survive the House GOP switching Stan Lee for David Floyd in the Minority Whip position.

Having someone in the House who is against a majority of the repugnant bills that are pushed there sounds pretty positive to me.

If what you say is even close to correct 9:55, though you sound negative to me, then I say we need more Stan Lee's in the Legislature.

Wait a minute; I already said that anyway!

Of course the truth repudiates your negativity towards Stan Lee 9:55.

I don't follow it too closely, but I do know Stan Lee is pro-Life, pro-Law Enforcement, pro-military, pro-constitution, pro-Freedom of Religion, pro-Second Amendment, etc.,

How's that for starters?
