Stopping "Domestic Partner" Benefits

The Family Foundation is leading the way on getting the legislature to drop Greg Stumbo's "Boyfriend Benefits Plus" program.

Supporters of fiscal sanity on this issue will meet Monday at 2pm in the Capitol Rotunda.

The Senate has already passed SB 5 and the House Democrats are sitting on it.

The Family Foundation is nothing but the KKK with church cloths on. The Kentucky Citizen publication they peddle is out right hate speech.

If you are so concerned about what you call boy friend benefits then show us how much it will cost the tax payers to support the actual people participating in the program. I expect it would be around .005 cents per year.

Don't let yourself be brainwashed in believing this nazi propaganda. Maybe we should all have THEM wear inverted pink triangle and prison cloths.

The Kentucky citizen is a sick piece of redneck trash Dave and you know it.

U of L and UK each said domestic partner benefits would cost an additional $600,000 per year. And that was before Stumbo expanded them beyond people who are having sex.

The only ones speaking hate and calling names are those who support Domestic Partner benefits.
Christians love everyone, but that does not mean they support any action taken by anyone. Gays should be loved as we should love everyone, but that does not mean we should support special benefits for those who are gay. Kentuckians strongly support marriage between one man and one woman. The vote a few years ago clearly shows that to be a fact. It has nothing to do with hate.

Fact
Most Kentuckians could care less what people do in their private lives.

Fact
Most Kentucakian do not wish to pay for the choices that others make.

Fact
If you wish to have domestic partner benefits, move. It is that simple. Do not force the rest of us to pay for your choices.

Get these faggots out of our schools.

The governor should fire the university presidents and clean out the boards.

wonder why the family foundation or ky progress is not blasting ernie fletcher for wanting to give 1 million dollars to centre college for a presidential debate while at the same time centre offers DOMESTIC PARDNER BENEFITS TO ITS STAFF.

I will spend more time on the new budget starting this next week, but I have said plenty about the $4.1 billion in bonded indebtedness we have added in the last two budgets.
Otherwise, you raised a decent point. While Centre is a private school and can certainly spend their own money on domestic partner benefits, there is no way it is worth it to the taxpayers of the state to have Barack Obama come in to Danville to debate Michael Steele.
