Rebecca Johnson tells Frankfort not to raid state employee health fund

House and Senate leaders must refuse to include Gov. Matt Bevin's $201 million raid of the state employee health plans in their budget bills, Bullitt County House nominee Rebecca Johnson said.

"Just because everyone has been doing it for years and years doesn't make it right; that money is earned by state employees. My opponent's silence and her track record on this are very disappointing."

Kentucky conservatives push 2nd Amendment

Rep. Wesley Morgan's constitutional carry bill deserves the full support of and swift approval by the 2018 Kentucky General Assembly, Bullitt County House nominee Rebecca Johnson said.

"We have fought too long and too hard for conservative majorities in Frankfort to go soft now," Johnson said. "Kentucky should lead the nation in 2nd Amendment strength and that demands action to pass House Bill 36 without delay."

Rebecca Johnson: send Sessions home

Bullitt County Republican House nominee Rebecca Johnson blasted U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions for trying to take marijuana legalization rights away from the states.

"With his odd administrative move against states on cannabis rights, Jeff Sessions has turned himself into Darth Vader," Johnson said "President Trump should send him back to Alabama now."
