Who are some conservatives who would run against Chandler in 2010? Surely his votes on these socialist agenda items will come back and bite him in the back side. And surely the Republicans can come up with a candidate or candidates who can compete this time around. It's time to hold his feet to the fire. Of course, most of the electorate and news media are focusing on Jacko's death instead of what's happening in DC.
I think Laugher drank a little too much of Leland Conway's kool-aid! Funny how this is the same crap that was being said on the radio!
I actually think "cap and trade" is a good bill because at lease it will start to get us off of oil and fossil fuels. This country needs to kick its dependence on fossil fuels.
How will the bill do that, 10:14?
By making gas and other energy so expensive, we all revert back to horse and buggy for transportation and using whale oil for light! Foreign oil dependence issue solved, except for the whales!
Who are these idiots that don't realize that nearly everything we interact with every minute of every day is either made using oil/fossil fuels (plastics, computers, ipods, cell phones, tires, motor oil, etc.), made by buring more fossil fuel (power plants and production facilities, etc.) and every mammal outputs carbon from simply breathing. To top that off, global warming was debunked so quick they changed it to climate change - which still has been proven to be caused by solar activity, not man's.
So if these idiots get their way, my bills go up which takes food, clothing, educational and recreational activities away from my kids --------that's just insanely stupid and damn near criminal!

"damn near criminal"
It is criminal! I think we should all join together and bring a class action suit!
The bill is actually UNCONSTITUTIONAL. In case you do not know why, it contains a "Placeholder". That's a blank spot were the President or some beloved special interest group can plug in their agenda item - no questions asked. That is a breach of the checks and balances set up in the Constitution. Maybe "Anonymous" needs to read that document before jumping to conclusions.
Also "Anonymous" needs to shut down his/her computer, stop talking on the phone, turn the lights off and start riding a bicycle. Happy go GREEN.
Get little Ben a Democrat primary and a general election against a tough conservative. He deserves no less.
